The Manx Series: More Speed, More Possibilities!

Super fast InGaAs linear camera

Xenics has announced that they will be launching their highly anticipated new Manx series at VISION 2018 in Leuven November 6th, 2018. Based on the Xenics XLIN-FC linear detector, the Manx is a high-performance short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera providing ultra fast speeds and superior quality line scan imaging.

Manx Series SWIR Linear Detector

Fastest linear SWIR camera available wordwide

With extraordinary line rates of approximately 400 kHz, the Manx outclasses competitors by a factor of 2.5, making it the fastest linear SWIR camera available worldwide. These imaging speeds unlock new potential for even faster inspection processes, increasing daily production capabilities for applications such as silicon wafer inspections, TFT screen inspections, food and agricultural produce sorting, and many other industrial applications!

The Manx will be available in 3 different resolutions of 512, 1024, and 2048 pixels. Xenics will have the 2048 pixel version at their booth during the VISION 2018 show for demonstration!

Wildcat 640 Series: Higher Speeds and Lower Noise!

Attendees of VISION 2018 will also be getting a sneak peek of Xenics' upcoming next generation SWIR area-scan camera, set to be released in 2019. The Wildcat 640 combines high quality with high-speed imaging, ideal for demanding industrial applications. This camera features low noise and dark current, producing excellent image quality and speeds exceeding 200 Hz. The Wildcat is ideal for applications such as quality control, laser spot detection, and low-light imaging where image quality is crucial.

If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Leuven next week taking in all the amazing machine vision technology that VISION 2018 has to offer, be sure to stop by the Xenics booth in Hall 1 Stand 1G51 and be one of the first to see these game-changing cameras in action!
